You love watching Asian movies right? Of course, otherwise you wouldn't be here! Well we have something special for you. Resident film reviewer The Arty Dans is teaming up with his friend and Japanese movie director and producer Wilco C Rullens, of Tokyo Home Stay Massacre fame, to host a fortnightly Asian Movie Talk Show live on YouTube, with replays available on YouTube and Odysee, and potentially a podcast on suitable platforms
This one hour (or more!) live stream show will discuss topics such as what its like to make movies in Asia, the state of Asian Cinema and every episode will have a spotlight on one particular movie. For episode one, Dans and Wilco will take a good and humourous look at the popular Korean zombie film Train To Busan.
In future episodes there will also be special guests appearing to talk about their experience, including a very special guest. A clue? She's an ex-JAV star turned z-grade J-horror screen queen!
The show will be LIVE every second Monday starting from June 7th at 7:00PM Australian Time, 6:00PM Japan Time. (5:00PM Manila and Hong Kong, 4:00PM Jakarta, 2:30PM New Delhi, 10:00AM London, 5:00AM New York, 2:00AM Los Angeles).
