September 30! It's going to be a big day in Chinese cinema - the delayed Jackie Chan blockbuster will finally be released alongside Gong Li's Leap!
Directed by Stanley Tong, a big collaborator with Chan, returns to the directing helm (his last film was Kung Fu Yoga with Chan) in this action film about an elite team of agents, the Vanguard, who need to conduct one of their biggest and deadliest missions ever!
Originally set for release in Chinese New Year 2020, this was delayed due to COVID, but with Chinese cinemas reopening and movies slowly starting to get release days, this is taking the second most coveted release period - the Chinese October National holidays
