Chinese horror movies... well, you either like them or you don't. They're a very acquired taste due to heavy Government censorship. That doesn't stop the filmmakers though, as this is a highly profitable genre in China.
Set to release back in February, Beijing Guild Hall is now going to hit cinemas on the 21st August 2020. Check out the trailer below:
It's hard to gather too much about what this movie will be about, other than a killer Erhu - the two string Chinese instrument you see the main playing at the start of the clip. Not sure what to make of this, but horror is horror! Would love to see this just to see how it's explained.
