Something a little different for Asian Film Fans out there, we've translated all the trailers for the new Chinese-exclusive Octonauts movie - The Ring Of Fire + an exclusive clip from the movie also translated into English!
The Seventh, and final, trailer for the new Octonauts movie.
The Octonauts are kind of a big deal worldwide. One of the most popular children's animations of the last decade, the Octonauts originated in the UK and first appeared on CBeebies, a British children's TV station operated by the BBC. Based on a popular series of books by Vicki Wong and Michael Murphy, they have always had a Chinese undertone.
Comprising of a group of anthropomorphic animals, including the leader Captain Barnacles (a polar bear), Lieutenant Kwazii (a cat) and Doctor Peso (a penguin); a bunch of half-animal half-vegetable creatures called "vegimals" and a series of awesome vehicles, the Octonauts have had a few made-for-Netflix movies in 2020. But this is their first big cinema release.
Over the last decades, the Octonauts have been involved in a variety of adventures to save marine creatures and the environment, and in The Ring Of Fire they must face their toughest challenge yet - a series of volcanic underwater eruptions!
With the help of their new Gup-Z vehicle, can the Octonauts save all the sea creatures in time?
Chinese audience will find out the answer on January 8 2021, with an expected worldwide release shortly after including a full-English dub on Netflix sometime in early 2021!
