Peaceful Death
Jin is a doctor who is very busy with his work and has little time for his family. As Jin begins treating terminal lung cancer patient Toshio, Toshio's daughter Tomomi wants her father to live the rest of what little time he has left without pain, rather than receive painful prolongation treatments. One day, Tomomi calls Jin for help as her father's condition worsens. Jin advises her to just follow his instructions causing Toshio to die in pain exacly what Tomomi wanted to avoid. Tomomi blames herself in front of Jin and pondered her decision keeping her father in the hospital. Meanwhile, Jin turns to Dr. Kohei Nagano for advice on his treatment of Toshio. Doctor Kohei tells him that Toshio probably had a secondary condition that led to his death and believes Jin should have checked...
